Most frequent questions and answers
You’ll notice an improvement in your skin tone and texture after a single treatment. Most people receive a series of treatments 4 weeks apart. You can safely receive this peel 4 times per year. Once your Perfect Derma Peel treatments are complete, you’ll need to maintain results with medical grade
skin care and maintenance treatments 1-2 per year.
When your peel is applied, you may feel a slight stinging or tingling, but that will disappear within 30-60 seconds. There is a numbing agent built into the peel, so this is one of the most comfortable peels we offer. Immediately after the peel has been applied your skin will be red, similar to a sunburn, or darker. On about the third day, you’ll notice your skin peeling. By day six or seven, your peeling process should be complete. Included in your treatment is a Patient Home Care Kit to help you care for your skin following the peel.
The kit includes two Post Peel Towelettes and The Perfect Derma Moisturizer.
Since there really isn’t much downtime with this peel, you can resume your normal activities following your peel. Keep in mind that we recommend you avoid heavy exercise and sweating during the peeling
process (7 days).
