Lift And Tighten Your Skin With Ultherapy
There once was a time when the only way to tighten your aging, sagging skin was to go under the knife. Now, with advancements in ultrasound technology, you can lift and tighten your face for a younger look without needing surgery. Ultherapy is the only FDA-cleared, non-invasive procedure that lifts the neck, chin and brow, and improves lines and wrinkles on the upper chest.

How Ultherapy Works
Unlike lasers, radio-frequency, and other technologies, Ultherapy bypasses the surface of the skin to deliver energy at optimal depths, temperature, and precision. What makes Ultherapy unique is the use of ultrasound imaging, which allows practitioners to see the layers of tissue they are treating, ensuring energy is delivered safely and to where it will be most beneficial.
While Ultherapy does not duplicate the results of a facelift, it’s an exciting alternative for those who are not ready for surgery – and for patients who wish to extend the effects of cosmetic surgery.

FAQ
Most frequent questions and answers
The majority of patients only need one treatment; however, some may benefit from more than one treatment, depending on how much skin laxity they have and their body’s own biological response to the ultrasound and the collagen-building process.
Ultherapy is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses focused ultrasound to stimulate the formation of new collagen deep below the skin’s surface. The production of new collagen takes time, results can become more apparent over two to three months, even up to six months. The procedure takes about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the area treated, and no downtime afterward. It also is the
only procedure to use ultrasound imaging, which allows practitioners to actually see the layers of tissue targeted during the treatment and ensure the energy is deposited precisely to where it will be most beneficial.
Since the procedure stimulates a person’s own collagen production, how long the results last depend on the individual. The treatment produces new collagen on the inside, but the individual’s natural aging process will dictate how long that translates into visible results on the outside. Future touch-up treatments can help provide more control over the aging process, which varies by individual.
There may be slight redness that typically resolves within a few hours following the treatment. Some patients may have slight swelling, tingling or tenderness to the touch, but these are mild and temporary in nature.
Ultherapy is recommended for areas where the skin is starting to show some degree of laxity or “looseness”. Ultherapy is also recommended for areas where collagen has broken down. Loose skin under the chin or neck, droopy eyelids, and a loose jawline signal a potential great candidate for treatment. Under eye bags are also a great treatment area. While Ultherapy is NOT a replacement for a surgical facelift or skin reduction, it can help those with the early signs of aging, as well, those who want
a natural looking lift. Ultherapy is also ideal for those looking to prolong the effects of a surgical facelift. If you are NOT ready for surgery (mentally, physically or financially) then Ultherapy may be for you!
